1Introduction
The Editorial Board of the Rank International Journal of Computer Science & Multidisciplinary Research (RAINCOMES-PAK) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly publishing, research integrity, fairness, transparency, and publication ethics. Editors play a central role in ensuring that every manuscript is evaluated objectively, confidentially, and solely on its academic merit. Editorial decisions must remain independent of commercial, institutional, political, or personal influences.
2Responsibilities of Editors
- Maintain the scientific quality and reputation of the journal.
- Ensure a fair, transparent, and unbiased editorial process.
- Protect the integrity of the scholarly record.
- Promote originality, innovation, and multidisciplinary research.
- Encourage ethical research and responsible publication practices.
- Maintain strict confidentiality throughout the review process.
3Editorial Independence
Editors shall make publication decisions based solely on Originality, Scientific Quality, Research Methodology, Technical Accuracy, Novelty, and Relevance to journal scope. Editors must never discriminate based on nationality, gender, religion, race, political beliefs, institutional affiliation, or personal relationships.
4Initial Manuscript Screening
- Fits the journal scope and target audience.
- Follows the Author Guidelines and formatting standards.
- Uses acceptable English academic language.
- Contains sufficient scientific quality and technical depth.
- Passes plagiarism screening and ethical compliance checks.
5Peer Review Management
- Assign at least two qualified, independent external reviewers per paper.
- Ensure double-blind peer review confidentiality.
- Avoid selecting reviewers with potential conflicts of interest.
- Monitor reviewer turnaround times to prevent undue delays.
- Evaluate reviewer feedback objectively before issuing decisions.
6Confidentiality & Conflict of Interest
Unpublished manuscripts, data, ideas, and reviewer details must remain strictly confidential. Editors must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts written by colleagues from their own department, close collaborators, family members, or direct financial associates.
7Handling Research Misconduct & Ethics Violations
- Plagiarism and text recycling screening via similarity tools.
- Data fabrication, falsification, or image manipulation checks.
- Duplicate or simultaneous submissions to multiple journals.
- Appropriate action according to COPE guidelines (corrections, retractions, institutional notification).
8Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy
AI tools (such as Large Language Models) cannot be listed as authors. Editors must ensure that reviewers do not upload confidential manuscript texts into unauthorized public AI tools.
